SYNTHETIC / FICTIONAL SAMPLE

One invoice.
Three ways to use it.

Find words in a PDF. Use values in a CSV. Trace the row back to its file. Download one small example and see how the pieces fit.

1-page PDF + 1-row CSV + README · No sign-up

Authored to illustrate formats. All invoice details are fictional. This selectable-text PDF was created directly, not generated by production OCR. These files are not a client result, a service-quality benchmark or a promised delivery format.

01 / FIND WORDS

Searchable PDF

Read the page and find a reference inside it.

FICTIONAL INVOICEINV-000742Example Office Supplies (fictional)3 April 2026AUD 1,100.00

Try it: open the PDF, use Find (Ctrl/Cmd + F) for INV-000742, then select and copy the reference.

02 / USE VALUES

Structured CSV

One invoice becomes one row with named fields.

customer_code
000619
invoice_date
2026-04-03
currency
AUD
amount_due
1100.00

Try it: import the CSV with customer_code set to Text. Check that 000619 stays intact. CSV quotation marks do not preserve column types.

Download CSV
03 / TRACE THE SOURCE

Files that match

A source reference connects the values to the page.

INSIDE THE ZIP
  • DOC-0042.pdf
  • invoice-fields.csv
  • README.txt

Try it: match the CSV’s source_file to DOC-0042.pdf, then check source_page: 1. Keep the extracted files together.

What to notice

The filename is a document ID. DOC-0042.pdf identifies the file; INV-000742 identifies the invoice on its page. The CSV includes both, plus the source page. These are references, not spreadsheet hyperlink formulas.

The CSV changes the shape, not the meaning. “3 April 2026” becomes 2026-04-03; “AUD 1,100.00” becomes separate currency and amount fields. This example has no line items and is not an accounting-system import template.
